A monthly seminar is held to foster dialogue between people working in NGOs, public sector agencies, community and issue-based organisations, activists & researchers. The aims of this seminar are:

i) to consolidate the academic research collaboration;

ii) to enable critical reflection and debate on practice & theory, between academics &non-academics, as the basis for more on-going contact and collaborative relationships.

The focus for this group has been on social movement strategy under globalisation.
