Sustainable Futures: Roles and Challenges for Community, Alternative and Citizens’ Media in the 21st century

In bringing together international and national leaders, researchers, policy makers, activists, alternative media practitioners and community development workers we will debate the roles and challenges for the future of participatory media. The main issues we want to address are:
How do we understand the future of community and alternative cultural production and how can we ensure a sustainable future for community and alternative media practices?
